Google launches the first model for generating video with artificial intelligence

Google has announced the availability of two new AI models – Veo and Imagen 3 – for businesses via Vertex AI, its cloud platform that provides a suite of AI tools for enterprise applications.

Developed by Google's DeepMind, Veo is an AI-powered image-to-video model capable of creating high-quality, high-definition videos, including realistic-looking people and animals.
Users can create videos on Veo by either uploading an image with a text prompt or using just a text prompt. It will be available via the Vertex AI platform in a private preview.
According to Warren Barkley, senior director of product management at Google Cloud, generative artificial intelligence leads to real growth and transformation in business, and among companies that rely on artificial intelligence in production, 86% of them reported an increase in revenue, with growth estimated at By about 6%.
That's why Google is investing in its AI technology with new models like Veo, the most advanced video creation model, and Imagen 3, the highest-quality image creation model.
A new model for creating high-quality photorealistic images
Imagen 3 is Google's latest image creation model that can create realistic, high-quality images with simple text prompts. Imagen 3 will also be available to all Vertex AI customers starting next week.
Likewise, Imagen 3, Google's latest image generation model, is described as an AI model dedicated to generating images of the highest quality, and the images generated are said to look "realistic and lifelike."
Imagen 3 can also edit the image, as it can add, remove or expand an image. These templates are already used by brands such as Cadbury, Oreo and Milka.
All photos and videos created by Veo and Imagen 3 will be digitally watermarked, which also includes Google DeepMind's SynthID, an invisible watermark to help prevent misinformation and misattribution.
